For more than 65 years, OCV Control Valves has been a worldwide industry leader in designing and manufacturing hydraulically operated, diaphragm actuated, automatic control valves. In April 2018, OCV Control Valves, a family-owned company, was acquired by and began operating under the MAT Holding Group umbrella. “MAT Holding is constantly evolving! We understand that our growth relies on the synergies that we create worldwide. The US market has always been a challenge for our group and, with OCV as part of our family, we are confident in our development and growth,” said Pau Relat, CEO of MAT Holding Group. Further securing the position as a world leader in water control solutions, MAT merged OCV Control Valves with Dorot Control Valves, resulting in the creation of OCV Fluid Solutions. This strategic plan ensures a globally stronger product line, new innovative technologies, improved engineering, customer service and technical support, all while maintaining competitive pricing in the markets.
This collaboration will generate growth for all markets, Waterworks, Fire Protection, Aviation Fuel & Terminal, Mining, and Commercial Services, as well as all product applications, including pressure reducing/relief valves, deluge valves, local & remote actuated monitor valves, water level control valves, altitude valves, float controlled valves, and air valves. In addition to continuing to offer their long-time existing products, OCV is now responsible for the control and sale of the Dorot Fire Protection product line under OCV Fluid Solutions branding. With this global alignment strategy, OCV Fluid Solutions has implemented an organizational change for the management of three separate business divisions: Global Fire Protection, Global Fueling, and North American Water. Blake Kelso has been named Director, Global Fire Protection, Shirley Nelson is named Director, Global Fuel Division and Jarrod McCain is now serving as Manager, North American Water Division. According to OCV Fluid Solutions President/CEO, Robert Tipton, “We are excited about these appropriate, organizational changes by division and feel it’s a necessary strategy to ensure that we strengthen our focus and target growth in each of the individual markets.”
