Location: Tulsa, OK

Position Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for a smooth, streamlined supply of materials for manufacturing and services, as well as managing the business and operational activities of the relationship between the company and our contract manufacturing (CM) suppliers worldwide – in an effort to achieve optimal cost structure and to ensure effective supply chain operation. Supporting supply also requires NPI supplier management. This position functions within the Operations department of the organization and as such, will report to the Plant Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Contract Manufacturing (CM)
  • Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
  • Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers
  • Negotiate costs with CM & NPI suppliers, manage products cost reduction plans
  • Assure 100% OTD: BOM materials, R&D, service parts
  • Procure parts & materials at negotiated rates
  • Supplier selection & management
  • Lead outsourcing projects
  • Oversee & support the purchasing department staff
  • Import & monitor shipments globally into the Aquestia USA Plant

  • Purchasing Experience In: Raw Material for CNC \ Metal Casting \ CNC Machining \ Plastic Injection \ Rubber \Stamping \ Other components such as Fittings, Solenoids, Pressure gages – will be an advantage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related field experience
  • 3-5 years of supply chain management & direct managerial experience in corporate environment
  • Proven experience in purchasing team management
  • Experience in the metal and/or water industry – Ideal
  • Project management, material supply assurance
  • Excellent negotiating skills; Results oriented; Goal oriented
  • Advanced presentation skills (Excel \ PPTX)
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • ERP Proven experience; Ability to analyze reports
  • Strong team working skills – Global & Domestic
  • Fluent English – Required
